Is Amanda Seyfried looking for love?

An intelligent observer can easily say that British producer Judy Craymer’s “Mamma Mia! The Movie” started from an idea that the hit songs of ABBA can be used with a little bit of imagination and a story spun around them to rekindle the passion the music band created decades ago. The crafty storyline and the effective use of the ABBA hit songs first enthralled spectators of 1999 West End musical “Mamma Mia!” before it was turned into a hit musical movie.

Mamma Mia!, based on the songs of the legendary band ABBA, with additional music composed by ABBA member Benny Andersson, created history in British box office as the most successful film, and it grossed over $603 million to become the highest-grossing movie musical of all times worldwide.

If stars such as Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan SkarsgĂ„rd, Philip Michael, Ashley Lilley, can be forgotten for a moment, Amanda Seyfried is the young actress who graced the viewers’ hearts with a rush of adrenalin. So, naturally the 23-year-old actress Amanda Seyfried might expect young actors to be queuing up to appear opposite her. But it was not to be.

As Amanda Seyfried admits, the producers of her latest film, “Letters To Juliet”, could not find a love interest for her so far. Seyfried seemingly is pretty upset, as her statement reflects. The shooting of her new movie, also starring Vanessa Redgrave, is due to begin in Verona in two weeks. But two male parts haven't been cast yet.
