American actress, model, fashion designer and pop singer Lindsay Lohan has been a regular subject of celebrity and tabloid journalism. She had troubles with law, relationships, paparazzi, and still goes on strong in her career and life. In 2005, Lohan became the first living person to have a "My Scene Goes Hollywood" doll released by Mattel.

At the age of 11 years, Lindsay Lohan made her movie debut when director Nancy Meyers cast her in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap to play the dual roles of the estranged twin sisters who try to reunite their long-divorced parents. The Parent Trap was nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Female Newcomer, nominated for a Young Star Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Comedy Film and Lohan won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film - Leading Young Actress.

Lindsay Lohan presented memorable performances in Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls, Herbie: Fully Loaded, A Prairie Home Companion, Bobby, Just My Luck, Georgia Rule, and other films, some of which were successes and won awards.

In 2008 Lohan launched a leggings line named 6126, a number representing Marilyn Monroe's birth date. Lohan is a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe. In the February 25, 2008 Spring Fashion edition of New York, Lohan re-created Monroe's final photo shoot, known as The Last Sitting, including nudity.

In May 2008 Lohan was chosen as the face of the Italian clothing company Fornarina for its Spring/Summer 2009 campaign. Lohan has also been the face of Jill Stuart, Miu Miu, and Dooney and Bourke. Lohan was the face of the 2008 Visa Swap UK fashion campaign.

Lohan also started a brand development firm called Stay Gold. In April 2009 Lohan released a self-tanning spray under the brand name Sevin Nyne in collaboration with Sephora.

Lohan's latest film project, Labor Pains, an ABC family comedy airing on July 19, stars Lohan as a secretary (Thea Dixon) who falls for her boss' brother (Luke Kirby) while faking a pregnancy to keep from getting fired. Lohan had no qualms about swapping her usual designer duds for mommy gear, says director Lara Shapiro.
