Burj Dubai, the skyscraper being constructed in Dubai, UAE, is claimed to be the tallest man-made structure ever built with a height of 818 meters (2,684 ft) and as announced earlier is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy on 4 January 2010, but in view of the financial turmoil in Dubai and crash of real estate market to an all-time low, is likely to be quite late when completion will be over. The building is at the First Interchange along Sheikh Zayed Road, near Dubai's main business district, constructed as per the designs of architect Adrian Smith, the main builders being Samsung Engineering & Construction and Besix along with Arabtec. The projected original cost for the Burj Dubai is about US$4.1 billion. Now it seems, with the financial crunch that has hit the Dubai business and the Government of Dubai, coupled with the crash of stock market to an all time low of 6%, the costs are likely to change drastically. Dubai, though built on oil revenues, now accounts for only 6% of its revenue from oil and depends on tourism, real estate development and other sectors of industry for its income.

Demi Moore gets the Ralph Lauren treatment in December "W", originally uploaded by xeni.
Is this photo AIRBRUSHED to make the 47-year old Demi Moore look like the much younger Polish model Anja Rubik, or is Rubik's image is superimposed with Moore's image from the neckline, as some critics claim? However, Moore strongly denies the allegations, and she has posted the original photo on Twitter. Similarly, "W" magazine's spokesperson too asserted that the photo is original.

Valerie, 28 years, is a very happy Lucille Roberts member. Here is the extract of what is appended to the post. While growing up, Valerie was just a bit bigger than her friends, but never has ever been labeled "the fat one". She picked up a few pounds throughout college but after graduation she noticed her cloths do not fit and her face was getting rounder to become "the fat girl" in her social circles. She decided to join a gym and chose Lucille Roberts for its women's only membership. Within a year, she had lost 45 pounds and dropped down to size 4 jeans. Now, about a year and a half after being a size 14/16, She maintains a healthy weight and lifestyle. In fact a great change for Valerie and perhaps every fat or obese woman may be looking for a change like this.
