The American celebrity Brooke Burke, born on September 8, 1971, is a TV personality, fashion model and dancer. She is best known for hosting “Wild On!” a popular travel series on the “E! Entertainment Television” channel (1999 - 2002) and Rock Star (CBS summer reality show that is an American Idol-like series of 2005 - 2006). For the series “Wild On!” she traveled the world widely to profile the most popular travel and tourism destinations. She (with Derek Hough as her partner) is also famous for winning Dancing with the Stars (Season 7). Burke also starred in the TV show “The Weakest Link”.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Tucson, Arizona, USA, Burke attended both Sahuaro High School and Palo Verde High School in Tucson, and then studied broadcast journalism at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Burke was instrumental in promoting infomercials like a Swiss ball video home fitness workout, “Gunnar Peterson's Core Secrets”. Brooke Burke appeared in the video series “20 Minute Full Body Workout”. Burke also hosted NBC pre-show for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards with Tiki Barber and Nancy O'Dell in 2009.

Burke has two daughters from her marriage (2001) with Garth Fisher, a plastic surgeon of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, though they eventually filed for divorce which was finalized in 2006. It was followed by her announced engagement, on August 21, 2006, to actor and singer David Charvet. This relationship has two children together for them, a daughter and a son.

Burke gave her voice and face for Rachel Teller in Electronic Arts' video game Need for Speed: Underground 2. Brooke Burke also asks the questions in the video game Trivial Pursuit Unhinged. Also she has starred as a playable character in Burger King’s PocketBike Racer and in Big Bumpin.

Burke, in the beginning, had worked as a model for Venus Swimwear and Frederick's of Hollywood. She also had the opportunities to appear in magazines like Maxim, Stuff and FHM. She was listed as one of Blender's hottest women of film and TV for the year 2007. On the business front, Burke’s company Baboosh Baby, started in 2007, offers wraps for pregnant women.
